A DELEGATION from Rhode Island, near New York, USA, visited East Lancashire in a bid to forge commercial links with the area.
Bill O'Connor, chairman of GTECH brought representatives from Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce to visit Blackburn, Burnley and the Ribble Valley.
They were guests of Barry Kilby, managing director of GTECH/Europrint and chairman of Burnley Football Club at Turf Moor.
And they were also entertained by Lord and Lady Clitheroe at Downham Hall in the Ribble Valley.
The delegation also visited Technology Management Suite at Whitebirk and Eanam Wharf International Business centre.
