A 40-year-old plane will take to the skies over Burnley on Saturday.
The HD34 survey aircraft will fly past as part of an open day marking the 10th anniversary of aerospace manufacturer Hurel-Dubois UK Ltd.
The plane was built by Hurel-Dubois' French parent company.
Visitors to the open day will not only see the aircraft in action - but will also have the chance to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip in the plane as part of a competition.
There will be many other activities - games and competitions including five-a-side football and tug-of-war as well as a magic show, face painting, bouncy castle and much more entertainment for the kids.
Hurel-Dubois is also opening the doors to the facility and inviting visitors into the high-flying world of aerospace to see how the company designs and manufactures state-of-the-art thrust reversers - key components of aircraft engine and braking systems.
Steve Steinsberg, personnel manager, said: "Many local people work here and we wanted to get as many of them, their friends and families, our customers and suppliers and many other people in the community to join in our celebration of this special anniversary.
"The plane is a symbol of the inspiration and innovation which has driven this company from the beginning and the fly-past will make it an historic day."
