NELSON is hosting a qualifying round for the Daily Telegraph/Center Parcs Junior Golf Championship tomorrow.
Nelson will be one of over 1,000 clubs involved in the opening phase of one of British golf's most prestigious junior titles.
Tomorrow's local winner will join a national leaderboard with the best gross scores qualifying for the 36-hole strokeplay final. Twelve boys and nine girls will play the championship final in America at the Ocean Forest Golf Club, home of the 2001 Walker Cup, on Sea Island, Georgia.
All entrants must have a handicap of 28 or less for boys, and 40 or less for girls, and must have been under 18 on January 1 this year to take part.
