CONGRATULATIONS to Five who this week made it to number one on the North West Top 40 with their current hit 'If Ya Gettin' Down'.
Richie from Five, that's the one who goes out with Billie, is currently having driving lessons, but it may take some time for him to pass his test. Insiders tell us he's an absolute waste of time at reversing - even though he wasn't backward at coming forward when he met Billie.
Here's this weeks Starbeat record review.
Shaft - Mucho Mambo. This is my recommendation for this week. A dance tune with a difference. Good pumping baseline with a hint of Latin sampled, it's actually a sample of a lady called Rosemary Clooney, rumoured to be George's aunty. Massive song comes out on August 23.
Basement Jaxx - Render Vous. The second single from the silver selling album Remedy and follow up to Red Alert. The vocals feature Felix and is tipped to do as well if not better than their first hit.
Texas - Summer Son. The second single to be taken from the platinum selling album 'Hush'. This song has all the usual Texas ingredients featuring the unmistakable vocal talents of Charlene. Big radio hit and look out for their arena tour in November.
