GENEROUS shoppers at Colne Market Hall kept on giving to help Kosovo refugees after an appeal for vital supplies came to an end.
The appeal to local people to fill shoeboxes with basic food and medical supplies ended two months ago.
But since then shoppers have kept dropping off filled boxes at the market hall, which was used as a collection point during the appeal which ran across the county.
Manager Ian Varley collected 36 boxes yesterday ready to pass on to the Haven Cafe, Accrington Road, Burnley, which is a collection point for supplies for needy families both from Kosovo and neighbouring Albania. The cafe also supports an orphanage in Albania.
