I WOULD like to complain about the draining of the Barracks wildlife lodge (Bury Times, July 23).
We went to see it on Sunday. There were only a few ducks and no birds around. The trees were chopped down and it looked totally different from the last time we saw it. There must be only enough water in it to fill half a jacuzzi. They are killing the wildlife and they are putting more pollution into the world.
The council should do their job and put a stop to this. This used to be a beautiful lodge that we came to every day. This is now the second local wildlife lodge that has been destroyed and we are appalled.
We are very concerned about nature.
