A 'DON'T drink the water' warning went out in East Lancashire in an alert over a deadly bug in springs and streams.
Water minister Michael Howard admitted that the bug - cryptosporidium - would pose a major health threat to human beings. Children and people suffering from diseases such as AIDS were most at risk.
