A PETROL station's appeal for three cashiers had a highbrow response - almost half the 125 applicants were graduates.
Bosses at the Jet garage in Darwen were stunned when graduates desperate for work applied for the vacant posts. And the Bolton Road firm even had to refuse some applications after it was deluged with interest.
