SHEREEN Mala of Pioneer 79 Swimming Club was the most successful individual at the Salford graded meet held at Worsley swimming pool, Walkden.
She took gold in every event she entered, first place in the 15 years and over age group, 200m individual medley, 100m freestyle, 100m butterfly and 100m breast stroke.
Louise Douglas, in the 11/12 years age group, came away with a bronze medal gained in the 100m freestyle, she also went on to take sixth place in the 100m backstroke.
Neal Douglas took silver in the 100m butterfly 13/14 age group and fourth in the 100m backstroke. Rachel Braid, after an excellent effort, came tenth in the 50m breast stroke and did well in her other events to record personal best times, as did Oliver Brindle in the 50m freestyle.
