OVER the past 30 years my wife and family have visited Ramsbottom on many occasions and it has been very apparent to us just how the town has gradually become more and more attractive.
On our last visit it was such a pleasure to see the new water feature in the town centre, such an attractive symbol. Water flowing from the upturned vase made a delightful scene and spoke volumes about the area's reliance on water.
We were also delighted to see the sculptures in Nuttall Park, which very nicely combined modern art with the history of the area. We congratulate everyone involved in this project and the many improvements being made to Ramsbottom.
