AN afternoon of ancient woodland crafts and skills is on offer on Sunday, August 1 at Siding Lane Woodland, Rainford.
Part of the Mersey Forest 'Forest Fever Fortnight', exhibitions will include wood sculpture, wheelwright skills, birds of prey and a fly fishing demonstration. The event is one of the annual summer events organised by St Helens Council's Ranger Service. Entrance to the show (noon to 5pm) is free and car parking is provided at a nominal fee by a local landowner. Further information from the Rangers on 815586.
