IT was lucky 13 for pupils at St Aelred's School, Newton-le-Willows, who passed the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music examinations.
The ten woodwind, two string and one brass musicians were Jenny Daniels, saxophone (distinction); Kevin Smith, trombone (distinction); Judith Myers, flute (merit); Shareen Bowes, violin; Brigid Marriott, flute; Helen Bate, clarinet; Catherine Mohan, flute; Helen Kirwan, violin; Kathryn Troilett, flute; Natalie Baker, clarinet; Michael Frodsham, clarinet; Jenni Gould, flute and Sinead Mohan, flute.
