FORMER Saints skipper Bobbie Goulding is expected to make a nostalgic return when struggling Huddersfield Giants visit Knowsley Road tomorrow (Friday).

There are more links with Saints Goulding's team-mates Danny Arnold, Paul Loughlin and Jonathan Neill plus Giants' assistant coach Phil Veivers, although another former Knowsley Roader, Ian Pickavance, is currently out of favour at Huddersfield.

Cock-a-hoop after the epic victory at Leeds, second-placed Saints will probably be unchanged, although Paul Davidson faces a fitness check after being substituted at Headingley, and strapping Welsh forward Gareth Price could be set for a place in the starting line-up.

Many former Saints' stars attended the funeral of forward of the 1950s Roy Robinson, which took place at the Parish Church on Monday. They included Alex Murphy, Austin Rhodes, John Dickinson, Brian McGinn, Kel Coslett, Steve Llewellyn, Brian Glover, Peter Harvey, Geoff Pimblett, Bob Dagnall, Josh Gaskell, Wilf Smith, and Dave Markey.
