A MAN had part of his ear bitten off during an incident in Chaser's Nightclub in Earlestown.
The 24-year-old victim was atacked when he tried to intervene in a fight between two other men in the upper floor balcony area of the club in Earle Street club at about 1.45am on Saturday. One of the men lunged at him, biting his ear and punching him in the face.
After having six stitches inserted in his ear at Warrington Hospital, the victim was referred to Whiston Hospital for plastic surgery.
Hwever, he couldn't provide a description of his attacker and police are appealing for any witnesses to contact St Helens CID office on 0151 777 6062 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
