A rematch of last weekend's AAA Championships 800 metre final will see winner Mark Sesay and runner-up Jason Lobo attempt to gain the World Championship qualifying mark at Thurrock tomorrow.
Although both beat Curtis Robb in last Sunday's final, the Liverpudlian - fourth in the 1993 World Championships - was selected for Seville where the action begins on August 20 because he had already achieved the qualifying time of one minute 46.30 seconds.
Now Sesay of Leeds and Belgrave's Lobo again face Robb, who, after starting favourite in Birmingham, found three hard races in three days too much to cope with in his return to top-flight athletics after a two-year absence.
The LTS Games, organised by former world javelin record holder Fatima Whitbread, have attracted a strong entry list including around 30 of the Australian team which contains several Commonwealth champions preparing for the World Championships.
The British women's 4x100 relay team will also compete against Australia's talented squad.
