RUGBY LEAGUE: Lancashire Lynx face another difficult fixture tomorrow at Craven Park against Barrow Border Raiders.
Despite putting up one of their best defensive displays of the season against Featherstone last Friday, Lynx still slipped to another narrow defeat.
With Oldham losing 84-0 at Widnes, Lynx have moved up a place in the league but are still four points behind the next placed club.
Lynx are still be without Paul Norton, Neil Alexander and John Donno, although Alexander could be fit for next week's home clash with Widnes.
Andy Bennett turned in an excellent performance against Featherstone after missing the previous 10 games with a knee injury, whilst PJ Soloman also continues to impress in the second row.
Barrow have proved to be one of the most inconsistent sides in the league and on their day are capable of beating anybody while also likely to be beaten heavily.
When the sides met at Victory park on Good Friday, Barrow ran Lynx ragged.
Half back Darren Holt, who is being closely monitored by several Super League clubs.
His partnership with Tane Manihera will certainly cause Lynx problems, whilst hooker Dave Clark is another that will have to be watched closely.
Lynx from: Parsley, Ratcliffe, Murray, Abram, David Jones, Roberts, Flanagan, Horton, Bennett, Prest, Walsh, Solomon, Hodgkinson, Geritas, Fisher, Danny Jones, Gildart, Speed, Guest.
