SWEDISH children spent a day beside the seaside thanks to generous charity workers from Church and Oswaldtwistle Rotary Club.
The youngsters were visiting Oswaldtwistle from twin town Falkenberg, in Sweden.
Club president Colin Furey, who has visited the Scandinavian country several times, handed over a cheque for £150 to twinning committee chairman Alan Brown to help pay for a day trip to Blackpool.
A farewell party was held for the foreign visitors and their hosts at Stanhill Hall, Oswaldtwistle.
A Rotary spokeswoman said: "We have always been an advocate of twinning as a method of promoting goodwill between nations.
"It is believed Rotary members were among the first official visitors to Falkenberg nearly 30 years ago."
