LANCASHIRE Automobile Club's Coast-to-Coast Classic Tour takes to the road next Saturday, writes NEIL JOHNSON.
This year's event looks set to be one of the best ever, with entries from as far afield as Inverness and London.
"The entry list reads like an A to Z of motoring, with Alvis, Alfa Romeo, Jaguar, Lotus, Ferrari Bugatti, MG and Triumph among the marques," said a club spokesman.
Drivers will set off from Blackpool's North Pier, calling at village checkpoints, including Newton-in-Bowland, Kettlewell and Scawton, before heading through the Yorkshire Moors and finishing at the Spa Complex, Scarborough.
Further details are available from Ronn Middleton, deputy clerk of the course, tel: 01257 416458.
