A PETROL bomb attack on a house in Burnley may be connected to an earlier incident in which a car was damaged.
Detectives investigating the incidents in Brennand Street, Burnley, are asking for information from the public.
A bottle filled with petrol was thrown at the house at about 2.15am on Saturday. It failed to ignite properly but caused scorching to the front door.
Det Sgt Tony Ronan said: "The indications are that there was some sort of disturbance in the same street a couple of hours earlier when at least one window was broken in a large dark coloured saloon.''
Anyone with information is asked to contact Burnley CID on 01282-425001.
