THE new details for the forthcoming season are now being confirmed. The committee has decided that once again there will be five divisions of nine teams. This will mean that during the season each team will have two weeks when there is no scheduled match.
The season will commence on Monday September 20 and finish with the cup finals by May 8.
The divisions will be made up of the following teams: Division One: Belgrave Carpets, Brockhall A, Independents A, Pleckgate, St Philips, Stanhill A, Salesbury A, YMCA A, YMCA B.
Division Two: Abacus, BAe, Independent B, Mount Carmel, Roefield A, St Nicholas A, Stanhill B, Telecom A, YMCA C.
Division Three: Avondale, Aztec, Brockhall B, Olympic A, Prince, Roefield B, Tag, Westholme, Whitehall.
Division Four: Accrington Falcons, Blackburn Juniors A, College, Independent C, Olympic B, Roefield C, St Nicholas B, Telecom B, YMCA D.
Division Five: Blackburn Blinds, Blackburn Juniors B, Olympic C, Phoenix, Roefield D, Roefield Leisure Centre, St Matthew's, Salesbury B, Westholme Wilmar Lodge.
