ONE of East Lancashire's major employers and Europe's leading carpet underlay manufacturer is celebrating winning the top prize in national industry awards.
Duralay won the Flooring Industry Awards carpet underlay prize with its market leading Durafit System.
Durafit is the UK's most popular commercial stick-down underlay system and is used in offices, shops, airports, leisure centre and VIP and hospitality areas all over the country.
This is the third year Duralay of Haslingden has been a winner.
Last year the company won the top accessories prize with its carpet-fitting tool the Invisiseamer.
