BLONDE beauty Caroline Shuttleworth beat thousands of young hopefuls to win a chance of a top modelling contract.
The 5ft 10in teenager from Higham was selected as the regional winner of Storm model agency's Highland Springs Originals competition, after attending a regional heat at a Cheshire hotel.
And now the 15-year-old pupil at Westholme School, Blackburn, will take to the catwalk as one of just six would-be models in the national final in September in London. If the judges vote for her she will be taken on by the model agency which gave Kate Moss her break.
Caroline said: "We had to walk down the catwalk and then be interviewed by the judges.
"I was very nervous and was shocked when they picked me. I shall have to wait and see what happens at the national final."
Caroline's mother Barbara entered her daughter for the competition after seeing a leaflet.
Caroline, who enjoys acting and music, is taking singing lessons and GCSE music and is a member of Burnley Youth Theatre.
She said: "If I don't make it as a model I would be interested in pursuing a career on the stage acting or singing in musicals."
