AN engineering firm is celebrating success for two young managers. Simon Strachan and Anthony Haworth, who work for automotive component manufacturers Earby Light Engineers, have both been awarded masters degrees from Manchester Metropolitan University. Aerospace cell manager Anthony, 24, and automotive manager Simon, 25, both from Colne, began their careers as Modern Apprentices under the XTEND programme for school-leavers in East Lancashire.
