SHARES in several East Lancashire firms have been rated as worth buying by stockbrokers.
Henry Cooke Lumsden reckons shares in Salterforth-based bed giant Silentnight and Skillsgroup, which owns Acuma in Haslingden, are worth tucking away.
Wardle Storeys, which has sites in Blackburn and Earby, is also rated a buy and the stockbrokers believe Wolstenholme Rink shares should recover some of the ground they have lost.
Blackburn-based Scapa is rated a buy along with British Vita, which owns Caligen Foam and Baxenden Chemicals in Hyndburn.
And shares in L Gardner, parent firm of Cleveland-Guest at Colne, are also rated as a buy.
