DAIRY farmers are invited to a crisis meeting in the wake of a recently published report into milk sales.
The Lancashire branch of the National Farmers' Union has called the meeting in response to the Monopolies and Mergers Commission report.
It will take place on August 12, at Russell Farm, Burton-in-Kendal, near Carnforth, at 1.30pm.
NFU milk delegate and Preston dairy farmer David Clarke said: "The new report left many questions unanswered.
"I anticipate a lively meeting. It will provide local farmers with an opportunity to assess the options available to them as they search for ways to keep their businesses afloat."
