OPENER Graham Harrop's knock of 55 was all for nought as Glazebury fell to a five-wicket defeat against Grange.
All-rounder Jon Gibbons chipped in with a useful 38 as Glazebury made 164.
But Grange stormed in with 167-5, Gibbons taking 3-37.
Glazebury 2nd also lost to Grange, despite setting a healthy total of 198 with good scores from Mark Tomlinson 35, Alan Major 31 and Graham Lawrence 28.
But Glazebury lost it when they dropped Grange opener Brian Horton when he had scored nine.
He went on to score an unbeaten 110 as they replied at 199-6.
LEIGH U15s moved into second spot in the league following an emphatic win against Wigan.
The old enemy reached 97-7 off 20 overs with Ryan McKinstry taking 3-7 off five tight overs.
McKinstry was also in hot form with the bat, hitting 35 in a 54-run partnership with Stephen Young, who finished unbeaten on 40.
Leigh knocked off the runs with just two wickets down.
