WELL what a weekend! Sherdley Park packed full for the St Helens Show. People wearing hardly any clothes because it's so hot and me really looking forward to getting on the Radio City stage to entertain the thousands. But what happens? From nowhere the heavens open and Sherdley Park empties. Great! Despite all that, hopefully you had a good weekend, at least it was dry with the fireworks.
Lets check out some new tunes in the Starbeat Record Review.
Tin Tin Out - Eleven To Fly
The follow up single to 'Here's Where The Story Ends' and a very catchy number at that. It's a great radio song which should give it a good chart position and was written by Wendy Page who has also written for Martine McCutcheon and Billie.
Apollo Four Fourty - Stop The Rock
You should hear this - massive. Starts off sampling the guitar riff from 'Status Quo' tune, then just builds to a big bouncy busty bunding song. That's all there is to say. Well done to the Liverpool lads.
TLC - Unpretty
Will they ever beat the success of 'No Scrubs'? The answer is quite simply yes. This tune is more mainstream for the soul divas but gives off just as much credibility. Listen out for airplay on Radio City very soon.
