HIGHWAY bosses have warned of a dangerous weed which is becoming more common on Lancashire's roads.
The Highways Agency has launched a campaign to rid Lancashire's roads of ragwort, a yellow peril which is poisonous to animals.
Bob Baldwin, the agency's Lancashire Area Manager, said the problem was getting worse every year: "This is one of the worst years for ragwort that we can remember - it's appearing in areas where we've never seen it before."
