ALTHOUGH our North Lancs and Fylde County Juniors did not manage to win the group fixtures and qualify for the inter-county semi-final, but they did give a good account of themselves.
Indeed, they took second place, which for such a young team was quite an achievement and to put icing on the cake, they won a place in the supplementary competition.
These finals take place at Garswood Hall, Ashton-in-Makerfield this Sunday, and continue throughout the day from 10am onwards.
This is another excellent opportunity for our youngsters to gain further valuable experience besides enjoy another great day out for both boys and parents alike.
The team will be chosen from the following squad of players: Duncan Blades, Stephen Clough, Garry Danson, Stuart Danson, Aaron Harrison, Philip Johnson, James Porter, Peter Roberts, Simon Singleton, Craig Smith, Paul Taylor, David Watters, Peter Worden and Philip Wright.
