THE only movers on the individual merit leaderboard was by several Lostock players who took full advantage of an outstanding away fixture to add two points to their respective scores.

They also added significant numbers to the aggregate totals which will come into prominence if points are level at the end of the season.

Dave Barnish, who now has 11 points, moved up nine places on the leaders and is now in seventh position overall.

Tom Fishwick has improved to mid-table following his latest 21-14 win to accumulate 10 points.

Barry Sutton comes on to the leaderboard for the first time with nine points and an impressive total of 35.

Brian Tomlinson remains leader with 16 points and his clash this weekend with Witton number one Mick Lee looks set to be a cracking contest.

Louis Stevenson has been a revelation this season for Stacksteads and with five games remaining has a great opportunity for Player of the Year Award.

His clash with Bamber Bridge number one Keith Illingworth this weekend, is vital for both players.

Peter Wilding and Steve Edwards who entertain Barnish and Darley on Sunday in the Frenchwood Lostock crunch match are two more important games for supporters to relish. Indeed, the system in Super League pairing up of respective top players not only ensures there are no easy rides for the men in form, but provides some very competitive mouthwatering games.
