A GROUP of Carnforth swimmers were on top of the world last week as they starred in a prestigious swimming tournament.
The annual "Top of the World" meet takes place at Oldham's swimming baths, the highest above sea level in Britain. Events ranged from under 10s to open age and Carnforth's Katie Docton won the 'Top Girl' award in the 14 year old age group having taken first place in the butterfly.
