TWO men were due to appear in court today charged with the attempted murder of Darren Wright, 24, of Burnley.
Mr Wright has undergone surgery for a fractured skull suffered in an alleged pistol whipping outside a pub in Morecambe early on Tuesday.
He has now been released from the Royal Preston Hospital where the operation was carried out.
A 17-year-old has already appeared in court at Lancaster charged with possession of an imitation pistol and wounding.
Two others Kamal Patel, 35, and Lance Smith, 26, both of Morecambe have now been charged with the attempted murder of Mr Wright. Smith has also been charged with possession of an imitation firearm.
Both were due to appear before magistrates at Lancaster today.
