A REVELLER was 'pistol whipped' with an imitation handgun in Morecambe in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The victim, Darren Wright, 25, who lives with his girlfriend in Morecambe, was taken to the RLI and was due for surgery at the Preston Royal Hospital. The left side of his skull was thought to be fractured. Two men have been arrested and are currently in custody at Morecambe. It's thought the incident began at nearby Maggies Bar and moved to the corner of Albert Street and Marine Road. Paramedics were called to the scene at 2.10am. Mr Wright is originally from Burnley.
