A QUARTET of keyboard players from St Helens have taken the top prize in the national Technics Music Festival, held in Birmingham.
The four: 20-year-olds Alan Firth and Philip Byron; 21-year-old Martin Stout and 18-year-old Paul Buckley, play keyboards, piano and organ and performed a Robbie Williams medley to win the competition, organised by the Technics Music Academy and Dawsons Music Shops nationwide. They were also each awarded a Panasonic CD player.
All four receive regular tuition from the St Helens branch of Dawsons.
