LET'S party! That was invitation to the 400-strong staff at Asda Pilsworth who celebrated the buy-out of the company by USA retail giants Wal Mart.
And the cost of the food for the event was paid for by Asda's new American owners.
Staff at Pilsworth dressed up in a host of American theme costumes, complete with a Stars and Stripes flag with the name of their new owners emblazoned on it.
Miss Nerys Lyne, public relations officer for Asda Pilsworth, said: "Wal Mart said they wanted to give all Asda employees a free meal.
"But it was our idea to make the party more of a celebration." She said Wal Mart had officially taken over the company.
"We are now the biggest retailer in the world," added Nerys.
Two separate meals and parties were staged to cater for day and night shift workers at the popular store.
