JASON Lobo believes he's in the form to post the time that will take him to the World Athletics Championships in Spain later this month.
But the former Blackburn Harrier must prove that on the track at Crystal Palace tomorrow to take his place in the Great Britain team.
Lobo booked a provincial berth on the plane for Seville at the national trials but is yet to record the 800m qualifying standard time of one minute 46.3 secs.
His last effort was ruined by a strong wind but he's optimistic of going fast enough in a good quality field tomorrow - the day before the qualifying deadline.
Lobo said: "Hopefully the conditions will be okay. I still feel fairly confident and I feel that I'm in the shape to run that time.
"There is some pressure but it's pressure you put on yourself. I want to do well and make the team for the World Championships."
The field includes Kenyan David Kiptu and Italian Andrea Longho, who competed in the Monaco Grand Prix this week.
