ACCRINGTON STANLEY continued their impressive pre-season build up with a 1-0 victory over Runcorn at The Crown Ground on Saturday.

And the Blues are in action again tonight when they welcome Manchester League side Whitworth Valley to Shawbridge (kick-off 7.30pm).
Jon Riley and Mark Walsh got Great Harwood Town's goals as they beat Bacup Borough 2-0 in another warm-up match at The Showground.
Colne drew 1-1 on their visit to Crosshills with their goal coming from new striker Mark Towers.
And a 30-yard thunderbolt from Darwen boss Steve Wilkes gave Darwen a 1-0 half-time lead against Morecambe at the Anchor Ground before the home side ran out of steam and were eventually beaten 4-1.
Ramsbottom's planned friendly against a Bury XI has been postponed and rearranged for Wednesday, August 11 at Gigg Lane (k.o. 7pm).
