I CAN understand Dino Christodoulou's concern (Letters, August 2) about the misuse of orange badges for disabled drivers.
The most perplexing I ever saw was a disabled badge displayed in the windscreen of a lorry which was used by a roofer.
I often wonder what sort of a disability a roofer may have that would warrant being given an orange badge.
Incidentally, I've never met anyone who has been asked to prove that the orange badge was being used by the legitimate holder.
