THERE will be five divisions again in the new season of Blackburn and District Badminton Association.
Belgrave Carpets are not entering a second team, but a new club - Roefield Leisure Centre - will start their season in the Fifth Division.
The league begins on September 20 and will go through to early May when the season ends with the Cup Finals. There will be two breaks, one in November and one in December to allow for the various tournaments as well as a short break over the Christmas period.
The opening fixtures are - September 20 Division One: Independent A v Stanhill A; Brockhall A v Salesbury A; Pleckgate v St Philips; YMCA v YMCA A.
Division Two: Stanhill v Independent B; Telecom A v Roefield A; St Nicholas A v Mount Carmel; BAe v Abacus.
Division Three: Westholme v Olympic A; Roefield B v Brockhall B; Prince v Whitehall; Tag v Aztec.
Division Four: Independent C v Roefield C; Accrington Falcons v St Nicholas B; College v Blackburn Juniors A; Olympic B v Telecom B.
Division Five: Salesbury B v Olympic C; St Matthew's v Phoenix; Roefield D v Westholme Wilmar Lodge; Roefield Leisure Centre v Blackburn Blinds.
