BABY Benjamin Saul Robinson came into the world at the very moment of the solar eclipse - and three months after a tarot card reader told her mum she would have a cosmic birth!

And there was amazement at Burnley General Hospital when nurses spotted Benjamin was born with a clear sun-shaped dark red birthmark at the back of his head.

The baby weighed in at 9lb 3ozs at precisely 11.12am on eclipse day - two days earlier than expected.

But there was no surprise for mum Helen, 33, of Crawshawbooth who knew she would have a starstruck baby. "Ever since I saw the tarot card reader I knew I would have a cosmic baby - I was told that means Benjamin will be a very special and gifted child," she said. Hairdresser and beautician Helen said she saw the fortune teller in Gargrave to find out more about her coming child.

"He was reading someone else's cards when I pointed out other very colourful tarot cards.

"He said they were very graphic and sometimes explicit cards and asked me to choose one.

"I did and it was of a woman with an egg in her tummy - it was then that he said I too had a cosmic egg and would have a very special baby."

Helen, whose partner Kevin Catlow was present at the birth went on: "I started in Labour on Monday, but he just wouldn't come until the right time.

"It was hard work, but it was wonderful," added Helen who also has a 7 seven-year-old son Joshua.
