BLACKBURN people will surely hang their heads in shame that in their midst there are people who harbour the very same blind bigotry against people who are different to them as the people of Kosovo suffered so dreadfully from the Serbs.
For we learn from the case of a youth involved in a fracas at an engagement party that the trouble was caused by racist gatecrashers angry that the girl had become engaged to a Kosovar refugee living in our town.
What must these unfortunate people think of us as hosts - when they find displayed to them here the same kind of hate that led them to flee in terror from their homes in Kosovo?
Our entire community is shamed by the monsters in our midst.
