WOMEN of all shapes and sizes who have dreamed of being a model are being given the chance to basque in the glory of a fashion shoot.

Swimwear, nightwear and underwear shop Aphrodite, Oswaldtwistle, is seeking volunteers to star in publicity photos.

As an incentive for ladies to get involved, manager Maria Quinn is offering vouchers for the Union Road boutique.

Maria wants models of all ages, from all walks of life, to don clothes she is stocking for the tasteful advertisement shoots - including photos which could appear in the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.

She said: "I want ladies of all shapes and sizes who are willing to be photographed to go in my advertisements. "I recently used pictures of a local girl and that proved very successful, so I wondered if anyone else wanted a go.

"It's nice to get local people involved rather than an agency and I have to stress people don't need to feel they are perfect to join in. I would love to find a model for our range of corsetry.

"I'm prepared to offer a reward of a £20 voucher so models can treat themselves to something in stock.

"If people want to send in a head and shoulders or full length shot, or even come into the shop, I'll have a look at them.

"It's not a case of offering full time modelling jobs, but anyone interested in appearing in adverts can get in touch."
