BLACKBURN Harriers are supporting CGU Startrack, a grassroots athletic programme aimed at youngsters between eight and 12 years.
The three-day course at Blackburn at Witton Park from Tuesday, August 17 to Thursday, August 19, from 10am to 3pm.
Children will be able to take part in a wide range of games and activities designed to improve the running, jumping and throwing skills.
The course costs £21 and application forms are available from Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Recreation and Play Services, tel 01254 698137. For further details ring Terry McEntee on 01254 53834. Advance booking is advisable, but there will be a facility to register on the first day from 9.30am at the pavilion, Witton Park.
On Wednesday, August 18 - the Harriers hold an open track meeting at Witton Park (7.15pm).
