LEIGH ATHLETIC drew 2-2 with Breightmet United, Tony Lewis equalising with the final kick of the game. Earlier, Scott Lewis had given them a deserved lead. Lapses in defence allowed the visitors back in, setting up that dramatic finale.
Tonight, against Leigh RMI at Hilton Park, they begin a hectic run of matches, on Saturday they are at home to Bolton County - both matches in the Goldline Trophy. On Monday they began their Wigan Cup campaign.
The 2nds have a a friendly lined up at home tomorrow evening.

LOWTON'S Church Inn Rovers beat Howe Bridge Mills 2-0 in a friendly.
Rovers are now managed by ex-Mills player John Barker, who scored the first goal in a MOM display. Paul Spencer also netted.
