PRESTON-based Home-start UK group are set to get a massive £127,935 cash boost.
The three-year grant will pay the salary of a full-time worker at the office which provides information, training and support to Home-Start schemes across the North West.
It will also help toward purchasing office equipment, rent, travel and running costs.
Both donations were awarded under the board's Poverty and Disadvantage and Community Involvement Programmes which total £1,251,888 across nine groups in Lancashire.
Charities Board North West regional manager Andy Freeney said: "We are pleased with the number of quality applications we are receiving and the variety of projects that we have been able to fund."
