CYCLING it now a regular part of life's hazards in Bury's shopping precinct.
To-day I have been "attacked" again by these speed hogs on wheels, having only just recovered from my last bruising encounter.
Is it that I changed direction too quickly? Or is it that I am deaf and cannot hear their approach? Perhaps I am simply too old at 73 to jump out of their way!
I thought these shopping areas were reserved for pedestrians, but I must be mistaken. Maybe I will play safe and buy from my corner shop in future.
