AS vice president of Help the Aged's celebrity support committee, Stage For Age, I would like to thank the staff and customers at Preston's Tesco store for adopting Help the Aged as their Charity of the Year in 1998.
The tills have been ringing for Help the Aged, thanks to the fundraising efforts of staff and we are delighted to announce a massive £1.1 million has been raised for the Help the Aged Brighter Futures Appeal.
The appeal aims to raise £2 million over two years to provide older people with the dignity, independence, care and guidance they deserve.
Thanks to Tesco, we are well on our way to our target and we'll be dancing in the aisles for a long while to come!
