AS a regular visitor to Bury Market I have finally had enough of all the beggars conning people out of their money.
I was moved to write after witnessing a group of beggars behaving in a threatening way towards as young lad who was busking in one of the market underpasses, obviously trying to move him on so that they could have his spot.
I will always give a good busker something. At least they provide a little entertainment and give a town atmosphere. Most of all, they are at least making an effort for their money.
Many people probably don't realise that begging is illegal and a complaint to the police would soon have these scroungers moved on - and the sooner the better.
The more people complain, the sooner these often aggressive and frightening beggars will be gone. I, for one, have lost patience.
