A NEW programme of business support has been launched to help small and medium-size companies in the Deepdale area.
The marketing-based scheme is designed to help companies looking to expand their customer base and seek out new marketing opportunities in the UK and overseas.
Funded by Lancashire County Council and the Greater Deepdale SRB Partnership, the programme specialist support is provided free or at subsidised rates.
The scheme is managed by Enterprise Business Solutions, part of the Enterprise plc Group.
Lancashire County Council deputy leader Frank McKenna said many smaller businesses could not justify the cost of employing their own marketing specialists.
He added: "Schemes like this can provide a major boost for small firms. Companies gain access to low cost, independent, professional advice which can help shape the future success of their business."
Companies wanting further information can contact the Deepdale Marketing Programme on 01772 880729.
