WHAT a great letter in the Citizen, entitled 'What Poverty?' (July 22 edition).
At last someone has told the truth.
Okay, we may have some problems in this country, but there is no 'real' poverty.
Today's greedy, selfish, younger generation want everything they see. You see them posing around the town centre with their mobile phones.
These are the people who are supposed to have no money and can't make ends meet.
There are no true neighbourhoods any more. Everyone is too interested in looking after number one and trying to keep up with the Joneses, at whatever cost.
There are too many grabbers, takers and users and not enough givers or carers around. Thirty years ago all was well with this country - until people got greedy and lazy.
